Titanium tubes are light in weight, high in strength and have superior mechanical properties. It is widely used in heat exchange equipment, such as tube heat exchangers, coil heat exchangers, serpentine tube heat exchangers, condensers, evaporators and delivery pipes. Many nuclear power industries use titanium tubes as standard tubes for their units.


Titanium tubes comply with two standards based on different usage requirements and performance: GB/T3624-2010; GB/T3625-2007 ASTM B337 338


Supply grades: TA0, TA1, TA2, TA9, TA10, BT1-00, BT1-0, Gr1, Gr2

skills requirement


1. The chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy tubes should comply with the regulations of GB/T3620.1. During re-inspection by the purchaser, the allowable deviation of the chemical composition of Mingkun Titanium shall comply with the regulations of GB/T3620.2.


2. The allowable deviation of the outer diameter of the pipe should comply with the requirements in Table 1.


3. The allowable deviation of the pipe wall thickness should not exceed ±12.5% of the nominal wall thickness. The allowable deviation of the pipe wall thickness does not apply to the welds of titanium welded pipes.


4. The length of the pipe should comply with the requirements in Table 2.


5. The fixed length or double length of the pipe should be within the range of its indefinite length. The allowable deviation of the fixed length is +10mm. The double length should also be included in the amount of incisions made when cutting the pipe. Each incision should be 5mm. .


Titanium alloy is an alloy based on titanium and added with other elements. There are two types of isomorphic crystals of titanium: below 882°C, it is α-titanium with a close-packed hexagonal structure, and above 882°C, it is β-titanium with a body-centered cubic structure.
